We inform our passengers that scheduled maintenance works are being carried out on Runway #1 at Jorge Chávez International Airport.

Maintenance works with a full closure of Runway #1 will take place during the early morning hours, from 1:30 to 4:30 AM (Local Time).

• From 21st to 25th April
• From 28th April to 3rd May
• On 5th May

Maintenance works with a partial closure of Runway #1 will occur from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Local Time). During this time slot, flights will be scheduled on Runway #2.

• From 21st April to 31st August

These works correspond to necessary maintenance for the preservation of the current infrastructure. In this regard, it is important to clarify that the airport will not close nor cease passenger services; rather, flights have been rescheduled during certain time slots.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation – DGAC has previously informed airlines of these works to allow timely scheduling of their itineraries. The aviation authority, in coordination with LAP, has arranged for these activities to take place during hours with minimal operational impact.

We remind our passengers and users to check the status of their flights with their airlines. Likewise, for domestic or international flights, please arrive at the airport in advance, two (2) or three (3) hours before departure, respectively.
